The 5 finalists of the HEIPowered Startup Pitch Competition
On July 8th, the call for the second edition of the HEIPowered Startup Pitch Competition closed. After a rigorous evaluation of 70 high-quality applications, we are excited to announce our 5 finalists!
In the coming months, they will attend our in-person competition in a European city, where they will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges. The winner will receive 15.000€, with additional prizes awarded to all finalists.
Let us introduce our finalists:
Sunbiose: helps rural towns in France produce renewable electricity on their own rooftops and share it with neighbouring homes, schools and businesses. These shared energy projects cut electricity bills, keep money in the local economy and reduce carbon emissions, but they are legally complex, hard to coordinate and difficult to finance. Sunbiose removes these barriers with a complete, zero-investment solution by identifying participants, designing and financing the renewable energy plants, installing them and operating them for 30 years.
Atlas Consult LLC: supports startups and SMEs in implementing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems through training, consultancy and audit. They also provide ISO 42001 consultancy for IT startups and SMEs, and for organisations using AI in their activity (education, research), helping them govern AI responsibly. Their goal is an affordable, staged toolkit bringing small organisations to certification readiness within 6–9 months, enhanced with AI-assisted documentation and performance monitoring.
NERA ECO CONSTRUCTION, S.L.: upcycles sawdust waste through a proprietary process and biobased binders/additives to create robotically 3D-printed exterior insulation panels that are lightweight, carbon-storing, and fully customizable. Combined with an AI enabled software layer that optimizes thermal performance and design for each specific building, the solution is a hybrid, end-to-end offering for both new construction and retrofits.
AstraCore AI: it is an AI-powered wildfire risk and early-warning platform developed by AstraCore AI. Wildfires are already destroying forests, agricultural land and rural livelihoods, and losses will grow without prevention. Their solution helps forestry authorities, municipalities and emergency-response teams identify high-risk areas before a fire occurs, using weather, geospatial and forestry data combined with expert risk methodologies.
Neurohive P.C.: it is a livestock technology company modernizing sheep and goat farming. While traditional software focuses on cattle, their platform, Digital Farmer, is custom-built for small ruminants. They connect farm equipment, smart sensors, and advanced software to act as a 24/7 digital assistant. Farmers can effortlessly track individual milk production, manage breeding cycles, and monitor herd health directly from their mobile devices.
